We need your help!!!

We are trying to get some ideas for a new line of Paulson chips. The purpose of this thread is for you to let us know what type of art you would like to see.

The chips must have big easy to read denominations. We want to avoid anything that says casino, cardroom, poker room etc. A fictional name is fine.

Once this is ready to go we will have a new pre-sale with pricing at $.79 each.

Post some pictures of what you would like. Here are some chips I have always liked.

I hope you consider including a 25k Chip and I would love to see some color on the higher denomination side. You could reuse the blue from the $1 chip since they won't be used at the same time.

It may be understood, but anyone new joining the pre-order might benefit from knowing you are talking about the label design only and not the actual chip. So it's more of a post you favorite label request... right?

I wouldn’t try to do a faux inlay. Solid color with some ornamental decoration border is probably good (or watermark type background) with a denomination. I think the PCF tournament chips were done well with that style but prefer they not say PCF all over them.

They don't say PCF ALL over them. They say tournament, no cash value, the demon text and number, in addition to PCF. :p They are promotional chips and need to promote what I am buying them for.

@Apache should come up with a design and just put Apache on them with his logo and denoms. I think that would look cool.

Would prefer just the denomination with no text (other than the denom text), similar to the Palais, Protege, and Le Noir chips -- very classy, if done properly.

I'd also be okay with making these chips a tribute -- but not exact duplicates -- to your original Apache ceramic chip set that started it all. Perhaps time for a fresh revisit, Josh?

A combination of those two would entice me to order. (y)

I wouldn't consider them to be promotional chips, although they certainly could also be used that way.

Think you are right.

I like a white inlay with palms like the obsolete "Mirage" inlay with the colored palms. There was also a similar custom set "Black Sands". Names could be "The Palms", "White Sands" or "White Dunes".

Another idea of a semi custom set is the current "Bellagio" inlay. You could change the "B" to a "P" and call it "Paulson". Or us a "S" and call it "Sin city".

This is our new business chip. Could be a whole line with some modifications?

I think it's a great start.
Agreed. If not this, then something like the Palais line would be great.

If you were wanting to offer two lines, you could always switch from Top Hat & Cane to Bowler & Brolly. Very similar concept and look but with significant enough tweaks that it should pass.
