Hi everyone, figured it was a good thing to introduce myself as a new member.

I was a member over on Chiptalk for several years, primarily building sets from retired casino chips and my own customs. I decided to liquidate the higher end sets after a job change and my home game fizzled out to buy a motorcycle. (Dunes, Crystal Park, Vineyards, PNY etc and so forth)

Like most folks, I'm ready for the post covid world to open back up and actually interact with people again. So I decided to hop in here prior to starting up the home game again and build a set to commemorate it. I miss the click-clack of chips too much I guess. I'm sure you can relate lol.

I'm in the process of digging out my chip sets and seeing what I have, but will photo them and drop it in the appropriate forum someday soon.

Thanks everyone! Yeah, prices are different as well as most of the chips - so it's all just, uh, new again haha. I already made a terrible purchase from a clever eBay'er. Oh well. Lesson learned.

The biggest difference so far is the quality of home chip design on here. People weren't really milling or murdering (and other lingo I'm just not learning) and the label designs are fantastic. Really active, creative group here doing things I wish i'd thought of back in the day. Kudos.

side note. Why the fuck woulda Pete Carrol go for it on 4 th down instead of kicking the chip shot field goal to go up 2 scores ? Same thinking as when he blew Super Bowl by passing instead of giving it to Lynch ?
