I am originally from the Midwest now living in Nevada. I started visiting Las Vegas in the mid 80s, primarily playing Blackjack. I always saved a few chips from wining sessions, the higher the win - the higher the chip denomination. I accumulated some nice chips from the many of the great, but now imploded casino resorts during the 80s & 90s.
I actually lost interest in gaming a year or so after moving to Nevada, so my collection has been static for quite a while. I just started returning to the casinos after sharpening up my Blackjack, and adding a little Craps and Baccarat to my repertoire, when everything shutdown. With the new restrictions I am in no hurry to return to the casinos, but look forward to eventually adding some newer chips to my collection and perhaps purchasing some more chips from the now closed casinos from other collectors
