Found this site as the other half asked for some poker chips for the 18xx games we just got into for the holidays. Needless to say, I now know waaaaaay more about poker chips then he does. He still has yet to make a decision about what kind he wants and I even got samples of a bunch of chips from Apache! I’m doing my best here. M One day he’ll make a choice and until then I’ll keep browsing or maybe I’ll find a deal on the sale ads that’s just too go to pass up and he’ll just have to like what I buy. Also after searching and not seeing a lot of posts about it, I’m thinking of doing a Star Trek themed set of poker chips.

Welcome to the board, there are many chippers in Atlanta. I would always recommend samples to try out different chips based on budget. Like anything, quality will last and be more appreciated in the long run. I started down this rabbit hole buying my brother a set of casino chips and have been chipping ever since.

Hopefully I won’t fall too far down the rabbit hole. I am kinda sad the Sahara tribute project was never completed. That’s the hotel my mom and I used to stay at. Would have bought a set just for that even though we only played low stakes blackjack there. I imagine the fact that the hotel took the Sahara name put the brakes on the project after the plaques were made.
