Hello! I've been a member for a couple years now but am still considered a "new member" because I haven't posted anything. (I had Facebook for two years and NEVER posted a thing lol!) I've read a ton of threads, bought thousands of dollars of chips and truly enjoy the sight so I guess its time to start being more involved! I have a casino in my mancave with a full sized roulette wheel, 14' craps table and two blackjack tables. I'm always trying to find ways to make it feel more like a real casino and there is no better way than quality chips right!?!? I know most of you play poker but I haven't done much of that (maybe ten games total that friends have invited me to) but I'm here for the same reason you all are, the love of chips!!

I've been using milanos for most of my chips. For the $1's I have Paris chips that I harvested myself from Vegas. I had Flamingo roulette chips I got with my table but they were so worn that they didn't stack even so I upgraded to ceramic chips from the flying aces casino. I missed out on most of the vendor sales but I did find two colors of Detroit roulette chips in the classifieds to get some Bud Jones on the table. I have jack cinci chips in my black jack trays now and am slowly trying to upgrade the craps table (which are still milanos).

Where are the flamingo roulettes now, lol

The flamingo roulette's are stored away. I want to find a flamingo layout and frame it in a shadow box to hang on the wall. I was thinking of mounting some of the roulette chips to the layout to make it look like a live game is going on. There is a lot of empty wall that needs some art on it and I thought that would look cool.

Here are a couple pictures. Sorry they are blurry. The camera on my phone is broken and won't focus good.

Hello and welcome (to posting)!

I also run blackjack and roulette for my occasional fundraising parties. Great options for the casual gamblers.
How do you do the buy in's? We usually just set an hour timer (or however long we want) and everybody puts in $20 and gets a $500 starting stack. When the time is up, whoever has the most chips wins the pot. I just seems like there has to be something on the line or everyone just needs more chips because they bet stupid and its just not as much fun. I'm curious as to how everyone else does it and if there is a better way. Whats the best way to run chips at "fun night"?
