Hi all,
Well it's been an interesting journey as I've tried to build a worthy tournament set. I started down the road with black labels and got somewhat stuck with availability, and I'm an impatient person. So I switch gears and I was able to pick up a really good white label tournament set from the help of a forum member and Jim from the Chip Room. I'm really happy with this set, although I'll need to clean some of the chips. I think I could probably use some additional T500 so that will be my next pursuit but overall I think this turned out to be a great way to go!

Beautiful set! I think I see an extra barrel of T5000s! I’d be happy to take it off your hands! ;)

Sad to sad I don’t. They just sit there. I plan on hosting a few games this fall but I will never need the 100k. Just wanted to fill the rack since it’s casino that’s an hour from home.
lol I understand. I’m trying to build for enough for a 30 person tournament that I’ll be hosting. The T500’s seem to be the tough one.

They are the hardest to come by except for the 100k
At $1 a chip buy from Jim and trade or sell off the black and green for less then a buck a piece and you will have pink yellow and blue. All worth $2.50 a piece I my opinion.
So loose a little gain a lot.
that’s what I did. Had 300 pink at one time! That’s a lot for a set that my never hit the felt.

I thought about this. But I think I have enough yellow and blue. So not sure it would make sense to only get 30 T500 each. But honestly I’m tempted lol

Your looking at it all wrong, get two sets and you’ll have 60 pink lol.
Yellow and blue do have a resell value but it’s tougher to get rid of the green and black sometimes.
You have a great set now so you are probably good as is.

Haha yeah probably good, but always an excuse for more chips!

She’s growing! I broke down and bought another set for the T500 chips. I still need to clean some of the T500 and T1,000’s

Hey! I'm currently in the process of cleaning these same chips... and im using the same process.. getting them pretty much like your chip on the right.. but struggling to get them 100% clean there is still some filth stuck in the crosshatching of the chips.. any tips or did you leave them like that? Thanks!

Magic Eraser, dampened.

Don't have an ultrasonic so for now toothbrush with dish soap and warm water. Magic erases for the edges. The chips are significantly cleaner.. just can't get them 100%
