Hello all, my first try at this seems to have gotten deleted so I will try again!

Former online reg turned casual player with friends. Got sucked into this rabbit hole because I got tired of dice chips and slugs, and wanted to find out what kind of chips Canterbury Park (my old home casino) used and if i could get them. Turns out that no I can’t readily get any Bud Jones chips but I’ve learned a ton just lurking! Now I’m trying to figure out how to both complete a cash set of Dunes CCs while also finding a valid 5c or 10c chip to go along with it, I already admire the commitment of y’all with full sets lol.

Live in Dallas now but haven’t stepped into any of the poker clubs here or in OK, if anyone has advice on those places feel free to drop it too!

Glad to see another Texan join. Take as much time as you need, commit to a chip budget (if one exists haha) and try to seek out some samples of chips you’re interested in first.

Winstar has a great poker room. I try to go as often as I can. 55 tables of action!
