Hello, I stumbled across this forum after 2 weeks of feverish investigating into the world of poker chips. I've been into poker for the better part of a year now, and it only occurred to me recently that I should start hosting home games. This lead to equipment searching, the, "casino chips for sale," search on Google... And somehow here I am like a special needs kid searching for the exact combination of look and feel in a little (essentially) plastic desk toy that pleases my condition.

Cheers,
Tuba

Welcome aboard.

I'll give the same warning everyone get here, the longer you stay the more expensive this site gets. You will start and see some chips thinking wow some are nice but be shocked at some prices....yes they are real.

I encourage you to look up the Cards Mold chips custom/semi custom group buy options avail, if your budget is bigger Paulsons from former Casino's are a great chip that will often hold its value for resale if desired. Or if you have extra funds but not worried about resale then CPC customs offer top end quality but often sell lower due to often being so personalized.

Many of use feel that a nice set of plastic discs and accessories can go a long way to making or breaking a great poker night.

Thanks for the advice!
I'm still absorbing as much info as I can. I really like to combine quality and the aesthetic of a nice chip. And I agree, I think it adds to the experience. My favorites right now are Aria tourney chips and really simple or unique designs, but my tastes generally changes. I see myself hosting a lot of tournaments in the next few decades, so likely going to invest in better quality chips that hold value, not to make money but trade for different things as I age like cheap wine.
