RULES

1. STARTING BID: $1100
2. Bids must be placed in minimum increments of $5
3. The Starting Bid of the auction will be treated as the Reserve Price.
4. All bids are to be placed openly in this thread. No bids via PM/Conversation.
5. Auction will use the '5 minutes after last closing bid rule'. Highest bid tomorrow at 5 pm Pacific on Saturday August 25, 2018 will win unless there is a bid within 5 minutes of closing time - then the closing time will be 5 min. after the latest bid was posted. See the additional notes on this rule below.
6. Edited posts will be voided.
7. I reserve the right to: i) cancel the auction if no bids have been made; ii) edit the listing to correct errors or clarify rules as needed.
8. PCF (it's Owner, Admins, and Moderators) are in no way responsible for any actions in this auction.
9. Shipping Terms: Winner responsible for actual shipping costs (will ship internationally)
10. Payment Terms: Preferably PayPal F&F

Additional notes regarding the 5-minute rule: I am taking "within 5 minutes" to mean "less than or equal to 5 minutes from". And given that forum post times do not show down to the second, please be careful not to wait too long. I will consider all posts to have been made precisely at the time shown in the post, i.e., at 0 seconds after the minute. So if the bidding is

Joe at 5:04
Sally at 5:09
Joe at 5:15

then Joe's final bid is not "within 5 minutes" of the previous bid and Sally's bid at 5:09 is the winner.

I am pretty sure all the solids are BCC.

I am pretty sure they are ASM. You can see the brass flakes. There were two versions of .50. Solid grey and grey with 312 spots.

I didn’t come to argue, but I’ve owned a bunch of these in the past. You should be able to find some old info on CT.

No worries! I've always use this as the source of truth for these chips:

http://www.marlowcasinochips.com/links/davidspragg/borland/bjmolds.htm

but it doesn't have the tan quarters and you're right, those do have flakes. So I think you're right about those, but the 50c solids I think don't have the flakes and according to that link are BCC. (I'll double check when I get home.)

I've always liked this mold. I think I've bought 3 or 4 sets in the last month. My chipping funds are shot to hell. I definitely don't have 1100 plus :(

For anyone considering it. This is a solid break down.

Good Luck @navels

My favorite chips. Been collecting them for a very long time. Always interested in buying mint condition Nevada Jacks clay chips. The older version.

four hours left! i'll be out hiking near Mt Rainier today so may not be able to check back in until later tonight. good luck, somebody snag these!

Good price for some lovely chips. The 50c solids *are* ASM, as are the tan 25c. The white 25c are the BCCs.

If they don’t sell I’d take them for sure at this price (even though I’m letting mine go) but I would have to combine it with a trip to the US, which won’t be for a few months.

GLWS!
