Hi, i m a student poker player so... from EU (important cause i take care of shipping). My english will be as simple as i can ^^'
I want 2 kind of chips, around 25 for me personnaly doing chip trick front of computer (lol) and the others for making a set (home game).

I was looking for chips on internet for a week. 10 years ago i bought 25 paulson WTHC 1000 the yellow ones, i was no idea that was a such quality and discovered recently.
Since all (3) sample's chips i bought buy was like... frustrating.

What i want is particulary the same feeling on touch with the border and the slice, the same "grip" i feel with this . I don't know if i'm write good things understandable ? ^^
Doing my reasearch i think i get that what i want is chip made with "real clay", my last order was ceramic and i hate that cause feel like chips slide off your hands sometimes or on others chips ^^'
I don't care bout the rest (sound, weight, center of chip, design), for my set i would a model with in center 25cts 50cts.
That's why i would some advice to not make wrong buy next time.

So during my research i found the "atlantic club" looks like perfect but so expensive for me :s but i saw too those ones :

https://www.pokerchipmania.com/nexgen-poker-chips/9g-pro/

Some of you know those chips , compare to paulson wthc bout the touch feeling on border and slice ?
Which one is the better alternative or nearest to the WTHC about the touch feeling ?
Maybe this kind of questions already post, sorry but getting lost after one week reading everything and nothing everywhere... my mind is f***** up.
TY so much for taking time i write a bit ^^' , peace.

Only other clay chips will come close to the feel of the Paulson WTHC, or any other Paulson. No ceramic, plastic, or composite clay will come close. If they did, we would all be buying those instead. Sorry, but it's the truth.

I know European chip purchasers have to deal with a lot of shipping fees, duties, and taxes for all products shipped from outside EU. Good luck with your search.

Seconding above, my limited experience sampling CC and cheap plastics is that the only way to get clay feel is in a clay chip, and this seems consistent with everything I've read here.

If it's truly the case that nothing else other than feel matters to you (which I'm skeptical, because I've said things like that to myself in the past and it has turned out to not be true), and you want something substantially cheaper than Atlantic Clubs, I can really only recommend you to try to buy THC Starburst or Monograms in not-super-desirable colors in the marketplace. They can go for under a dollar each, and if you're new someone might be willing to help you out. They won't be denominated, but that can be fixed (with some work/$$$).

P.S. If cost is an issue, I would consider spending some time really minimizing the number of chips you actually need. I don't have much experience running games so I will keep my opinions to myself, but definitely get advice on this. If you have OCD and need to have at least a rack of every chip even if you don't actually need 100 of that denomination, well, I'm not sure if it's easier to get over the OCD or to pay to appease it.

Welcome to the forum!
If you have patience and some luck, you will find Paulsons for sale in the classifieds section. Quantity, break-down (how many of each denomination), condition and price must all fit your needs, or you must make compromises. Even non-casino Paulsons (like the ones you have) can be quite expensive if in excellent condition.
For "clay chips, NOW" the only solution is the off-the-shelf series offered by CPC (Classic Poker Chips), such as the Atlantic Club, or the Key West chips, sold by the name-sake business (also made by CPC). Both businesses are vendors here and very helpful.

You sekeptical so i am lol... you totally right , i probably lie to myself but still searching the perfect compromize. My mind is blowing up and if i'm waiting one more week i'm gonna take this atlantic chips for myself but not for my set....
The point is i said that already making huge compromize. What is the more important when i playing with ? The "touch". I wanna feels that touch on border and slice with same grip that i feel when i take my few WTHC.

The point is i'm student money is rare :p ah ah so if i could have of you guys "testimony" (don't know i i can say that english that case)

But if you already get nextgen, milanos, or else between your hands... which is the nearest to the WTHC's touch feeling. Could be an amazing help in my choice.

Ty for both answering , i gonna check THC Starburst or Monograms and the forum too ^^

It sounds like feel is definitely a priority to you, in which case I would also say that the Atlantic Club's which have the A mold is not what most consider to be the best feeling mold. There's a poll thread of people discussing the various CPC molds, you should read through it. Jockey and diamond-square are considered to be the best feeling molds.

But if you already get nextgen, milanos, or else between your hands... which is the nearest to the WTHC's touch feeling. Could be an amazing help in my choice.

I have no actual experience with Nextgen's or Milano's, although I've sampled Monte Carlo's and Royal Cardroom's also from Apache. I can tell you that many people seem to be very happy with their CC's, although I don't know if even those people will tell you that CC's feel anything like clay's. I do not personally think CC's come anywhere close to imitating the feel of clay chips. They're injection-mold rather than compression-mold, and are different in material composition.

Get samples, there's no way to know unless you do. I suspect you will arrive at the same conclusions if you've ended up here, but still, get samples! You may not have to actually buy samples, post a Wanted ad for samples and maybe a fellow EU member can help you out.
