Need a wedding gift idea (1 Viewer)

My buddy is getting married. He plays on the PGA Tour, he's from Australia, and we gamble together. So I thought a unique gift would be either a rare chip or frame several denoms from a set. Anything come to mind with Australian and/or golf flair to it? Thanks in advance.

Dunes had a golf course inlay set that was made in 1989 I think. A $25k oversized chip would be a pretty sweet gift I think. There aren't too many of them (racks) out there because that many weren't originally made. The story of those chips is here.

Not sure about other casinos with a golf theme, but I know there are many people on here that would have great ideas.

My friend made a custom set for my wedding gift. It wasn't a surprise though as he asked me a bunch of questions and we worked together creating it. Again, not the most exciting/surprising gift but definitely the best gift I received. You may want to just ask your friend what Inlay he likes etc..

I'm not on the PGA tour... actually I suck at golf... but available if you need another friend!

My 40th Birthday is less than 2 months away... just sayin.

Also does this mean if my boy Nick @PGA PRO gets married and I get the invite... I also have to buy a $1k plus sample set?
