Nice leg design. I could probably manage that (if I ever have room for a fixed table).

Very nice table sir! Can't wait to watch you win a bunch of money on it! :)

Great looking table. Been eyeing that color cloth for an upcoming build, but I do have a question. Does it seem/feel as dark in person as it looks in the pics.

Nice job. Did you make those legs yourself? Good choice for the cloth too, that's my 2nd favorite color right after Blackberry. I've got some of that blue I'm waiting to put on my next table.

Trihonda is the 'Chanman' of the North Central Division. Great looking table; I hope to play on it someday (maybe part of the MTTD?).

Yes, it really took me back when I pulled it out of the packaging. It looked much lighter in the pics on the ordering website. But, don't miss-understand, i love the color, i think it worked out better than my original vision of what the table/color would have been. This worked perfectly. In full light, its really nice. low light and it's going to be a bit dark.

The legs I found at a local Restore. So they are re-purposed from an old cottage table. Sanded them down and cleaned them up. They turned out pretty good! The blue totally stands out with the black vinyl, bottom, and stainless decorative nails.

Only if Trihonda really needs another table for his weekend. I did make the legs so they would be detachable should i ever need to move the table.

Thanks everyone for checking this out. It's by far the largest project of any type that I have attempted. I have to say... I am very happy with how it turned out. Looking forward to a lifetime of playing on it.

Magnificent. Great workmanship, and solid design/execution. Win some big pots and don't forget to post in-play pr0n!

I only helped with the cuts, and offered some small tidbits of advice along the way. Brian is the guy who put in all the work on upholstery, etc...

About the MTTD...

Oddly enough, I'm in negotiations to have another member host the MTTD's Thursday cash game. He's in the process of having an actual Chanman lighted custom table built. He's also got a killer game room (with darts, 18' shuffleboard, etc..). Since the table isn't here yet, I'm not ready to "officially" take him up on his offer. :)

Bonus is he's only a few blocks away from me.

The 2016 MTTD is gonna be stellar! I'm even debating ways to rearrange furniture to accommodate 3 tables for the ME. I'll only do 3 tables if I can do so without cramping everyone up like sardines. I think it's doable, but I will have to test run the layout sometime...

Is that the guy who has the bar stocked with 180 different types of booze?

No that's another neighbor who hosts poker nights. He's a liquor distributor guy. His game is actually where Brian and I met.

Some will recall that I posted a story a while back about a host (DW), who mucked his cards (three handed), then after he hit two pair on the flop, insisted he had not folded, and eventually was felted, when both the other player (Brian) and I agreed to allow him back in the hand (I turned the nut flush). Super nice guy, just had a few too many drinks off that wall-o-booze!

Here's a pic of the wall-o-booze! (oh, and his storage room is LINED with way more booze, lol). Brian will immediately recognize this wall, AND there's a sneak peak cameo by the likely host of the Thursday MTTD cash game.

Here's a pic of Highlander3 killing the tournament at DW's game!

A few shots from my first home game. It went really well. Table held up well, feel like I need to check the vinyl to make sure it don't need to tighten them up after having their first real use, but perhaps that's a job for a few games down the road when it's been used a bit more.
Thoughts?

So bummed I missed your first game on the new table... Those two donks (that look alike) seem like they'd have donated quite a bit towards our upcoming vegas trip. :). Speaking of which, I only sent out the invite over FB, and those guy don't use FB... We should extend them an invite too.

We totally should invite them. Considering it's your party, I am going to let you handle that, unless you want me to take on that responsibility.

Vegas doesn't belong to me. Anyone can invite whomever they wish. The more the merrier. I'll try to remember to email them. But feel free to invite them or bring it up if you see them first.
