Just joined the site recently and I promised to post some picture of my set of Mullet Bay Grand Casino chips. Mostly acquired in the 2006-2009 time frame. Yes, I went a little overboard. I thought my poker group was going to host a lot more tournaments than we did. Now I just use a smaller set (700 of these) for cash games at my house.

Would love to hear from other collectors of Mullet Bays...

I love BJ CIC Chips.
I love that they are indestructible.
I love that they're cheaper than Paulson.

HI @robh , I am working on building a set. I don't have a lot, but am always looking for more. Love CiC. Nice set you got there. frank

It's only a fraction of yours, but this is my Grand Casino set as of 2014:

Pltrgyst - I have seen several of your posts about the Mullet Bays. I also love the chips, and I picked this set partly because of a connection to the casino. My wife and I go to St. Martin for a week every February for the last 15 years or so. The first few times we went, the partially destroyed casino was still standing, and I even walked through it a couple of times. All the chips were long gone by then.

Very nice, I have a few singles of them but never seen so many in one place

Similar story here. We've been going to St. Martin every year or two since 1992. We always stay in Marigot, never the Dutch side. The ruins of the casino stayed there for many rears after 1995 -- it was depressing to drive by them going from the airport to Sandy Ground before the new bridge was built. In recent years, the French side has been very slow recovering from the hurricane damage. The French government hasn't done much to help, in comparison to the Dutch. :(

We always stay in Maho, right across the street from Casino Royale. Ever play poker there? They stopped having games for a couple of years, but they are back at it now. Cash games usually start up around 9 pm, and they have small buyin tournaments two or three times a week.

Yes, but only a few times. They don't even open until noon, and we don't generally stay up late or dress up that much when we're traveling. :cool

Nice to see there are other collectors of Mullet Bays on the site! I’m new here and don’t have anywhere near what has been posted in the thread. In any case, here’s my little tournament set.

Nice to see your set! That looks like about 50 of the $500s -- robh looks like 24, I have 41, so that's 115 of the total of 150 claimed to be in existence way back when. Ovo probably has the rest... :cool
