Found these on eBay last week and pulled the trigger. Couldn't pass them up. Had to add them to my collection of Atlantic City decks, especially since they are specific to the (now defunct and sorely missed) Showboat poker room.

If the person who sold these is on these boards, thank you! They are my favorite setup I own behind the unpunched Borgata cards I just got my hands on.

I guess I'm weird...I prefer casino cards over the other options out there like Kem and Modiano. Anyone else the same way?

Casino cards are cool, especially if they're plastic. But they still have to feel good. You mention the Borgata cards - I can see loving them if you love the Borgata, but I've played with those cards, and they're pretty stiff and slick and plasticy to me. I'd much rather play with non-casino cards that are good quality plastic cards.
I got a couple setups of the Cleveland Horseshoe KEMs that were sold on Amazon recently, and those are a dream, because they're real casino cards AND top quality plastic cards.
But the bottom line is if the cards make you happy, then you're lucky to play with them.

I can see what you mean by the Borgata cards being slick. The Paulson deck has that feel to them. The Gemaco cards are great and don't have too much of a slick or slippery plastic feel to them. Both decks are pretty flexible. Not too bad in the stiffness category. But I agree with the slick feel to them. Borgata is my favorite card room so it's a nice addition to have. Considering how rare they are to get hands on.

I also believe these are long outdated ad the Paulson deck is stamped 2011. Not sure about the Gemaco deck but it is nice to have cards that don't have the hole punch.

I'll have to give Kem a try sometime to see what the difference is.

Congrats on the find, but yes, you are weird........... :p

In all seriousness, I used to buy these types of decks when I went to Vegas, but I just can't use cards with holes or edges cropped......it drives me nuts.

That and 100% plastic >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> paper cards, so I just can't get it.:coffee:

But glad you like them, and I'll pull out my stash of casino cancelled decks, maybe I have some rare* ones for you. (*all are 20ish years old at this point) :)

It's funny the holes don't drive me nuts too much. It's when they get bent and start to get that noticeable use on the edges and they just don't feel "fresh" anymore. Almost every deck I have from a casino feels like it's never been used. Or used so little that it's not noticeable. So the holes don't bother me.

Like I said I'll have to give a good deck of Kem cards a try sometime

KEM's seem to be top shelf for the general population, but they don't get a lot of love around here - people say they warp quickly. My favorite plastics are probably Fournier, but the Desjgn cards are top notch too.

Yeah, listen to @upNdown Kems are fairly overrated.

I'm kind of a card snob......and would recommend jumping on the KickStarter buy for @desjgn right now.

Or if you want cheaper alternatives, the Bridge Size Bicycle Prestige cards rock:
