I've read elsewhere that china clays don't take oil well. If it's just dust, would a slightly damp rag have the same effect? Just curious.

Dave, that Milano sample set I lent to you was oiled...

The oil did make them look 100 times better but it also made them acquire gunk really fast, though a quick wipe with a damp rag fixed that easily.

I know, but they didn't really show the change that much imho. Seeing the change in a barrel, though...
