Hi there. Been interested in poker chips and playing cards for well over a decade now. Before I started playing poker, I would go to the casino and play blackjack just so I could play with the chips. The first chips I ever bought were WPT slugged chips. The first generation, not the slippery, smooth ones they now sell by the rack. I picked it up at Costco and thought they were the bees knees. Shortly after that, I discovered pokerchipreviews.com. I quickly realized that those chips sucked. I currently own about 1,200 faux clay, 700 Laurel Crown ceramics, 500 EPT ceramics, 150 Nevada Jacks ( old ones, not the ABC ones), 750 Milanos, and I recently purchased about 1,700 Chipco Classics and Crystal Oysters. I did have a set of the Paulson Pharoahs, but sold them to a member at CT recently. I also have about 200 or so sample chips.

I also have an uncontrolled habit of buying plastic playing cards.

That's it that's me. I'll sit down now.

Sounds about right.... ;)
Same with me, Dice chips, then WPT chips, then real chips. :)

Welcome over!

Yup, you'll fit right in. [emoji3] Welcome aboard!

And you are not the only one with a plastic playing card habit (guilty as charged)...

Welcome aboard.. I had dice chips, Milanos, then Jumped into Paulson's with The Chip Room sales, now I'm back to the China clays with the CPS chips. Way too many chips according to all my friends and family (who claim I have a problem), but not nearly enough chips to be considered baller by the fine folks here. Good thing I have an online community where I can feel normal once in a while..

I too too enjoy plastic playing cards. My current go-to is the Modiano platinum acetates.
