Just wanted to share an email response I got from GPI. Got me thinking about custom set of Gemaco Chips. From their website looks like prices are .85 ea for 2500 chips. Anyone ever look into doing custom set of these?

Good afternoon, Michael (He got my name wrong lol)

Thank you for your interest in Gemaco/GPI promotional products!

GPI still has a line of Paulson poker chips, but they are sold only to actual casinos. The retail line of Paulson chips is no longer available and there is none of the old inventory left in stock. Sorry for any inconvenience.

But with GPI’s acquisition of Gemaco last year, we do offer a new line of non-casino, promotional poker chips. These are poker chips that get imprinted with a customer’s logo to promote their business or to commemorate a private event, etc.

We don't, however, actually sell this new promotional poker chip line directly to the end-user public. We only sell them to Promotional Products Distributors, preferably ones with an ASI number. Promotional Products Distributors are the “middle-men” in the advertising specialty industry between manufacturers such as us and end-users, so you will have to place your quote request and order for these new chips through one of them.

If you don’t have a preferred Promotional Products Distributor that you like to use, here are some that we can recommend....

Gemaco chips are dreadful, IMO, and even moreso at $.85 per. At that price I'm getting fully customized GOCC's.

I have never seen them and did not know if they were using different equipment since they bought them out last year.

Someone had recently posted a pic of GPI's new separate "Blue Chip" line of clay chips, showing GPI's sample offerings of some of their molds ...
I wonder if a business, such as Trademark or Kardwell, ( not an individual or "hobbyist", sure to get a canned reject email) , could email or call them / their salesperson, & actually get them to do a 150K or more run of custom retail "blue chips", since they are not technically GPI's "Paulson" chips ... Only a Trademark or Kardwell would be able to get the real answer to that ...
