My customs from BR Pro Poker (2 Viewers)

Good morning, I am new to the site. I have some $1 LV chips from yrs. ago. Question: the 5 and 25 denoms, are those called double edge block spots? I tried looking up poker chip anatomy on google. I did find a site edgespots.com

I've never heard that terminology used before.

Around here we typically identify edge spot patterns using a code with letters and numbers. The $5 chips in the original post are 3d14 and the $25 chips in the original post are 4d14. Here's what that code means:

4d14 - the 4 means there are four positions around the chip with spots.
4d14 - the d means that each position has a double spot
4d14 - the 14 means that each spot is 1/4 inch wide (38 would mean 3/8 inch wide, 12 would mean 1/2 inch wide, etc)

So a 4d14 chip has four double-quarter-inch spots.

There are lots of different patterns, and each one has a different code. Some a pretty straight-forward, others are a little weird to figure out.

Here are all of the different spot patterns that Paulson chips come in: https://www.pokerchipforum.com/resources/paulson-edge-spot-options.26/

And here are all of the different spot patterns that CPC chips come in: http://www.classicpokerchips.com/pokerchips/realclay/edgespots.htm

Welcome to the forum!

I appreciate your time! I was on pokerchipdesigntool.com I didn't see the 4d14. I do see a 4d18. If I customize, I might opt for solid. When I get a few samples, I can take note of how they look and decide if I really want single block or double edge spot. When I was in Vegas, I purchased about 20 $1 chips from the casinos, some are not there anymore. I think certain sites use their own terms. Again thank you.

Yeah, I found it in the middle. To think I used to engrave notary embossing seals I would be more cognizant. I guess if I was getting down to brass tacks on customizing, I'd be more aware. The site is very intuitive. Maybe I'll get a set of 500 someday. I await my samples this week. Debating going to Vegas. I enjoyed those little $35 buy-in tourney's at Sahara. I still have my $1 and $5 chips. Hey, Thanks for your help.
