I now have my long awaited @T_Chan table. Super excited! Took some photos with my chips. The Jack IHC set is a work in progress. Right now trying to decide if the AS $100 or BTP T100 chips would be better as a relabeled Jack $100,000 chip.

The PNY set is the primary set. It didn't make the family photo because without a table the game has been at a buddy's who built his own table but owns crappy dice chips.

A set of chairs is next on the agenda.

very nice, would love to see the felt without the chips

Table and chips are top notch! Very nice. Where’d you get the artwork? The 10 thru A on the wall? That’s awesome.

Congratulations! That setup is sick and certainly makes me envious. Beautiful setup and you ought to include pics of the pool table as well. It seems there is one in that beautiful room you have. I'm speechless. That decor, wow! Nice tastes man!

Props for the "BOOMERANG" base. I recently received my TChan table but it had a "Modern Base". Wifey wouldn't approve a Boomerang in our kitchen but it sure is remarkable. Thing of beauty..

Jealous here! Yep...very jealous! Happy for you..I know the feeling

My vote is for the AS $100 as the $100,000 Jack chip, though I assume T100 and T100000 chips will never be in play at the same time, right? Could get confusing for some.

I think he's doing an IHC only set that would not include the Jack Detroit $100. I agree about doing AS $100 as your $100,000.

I bought them at auction several years ago. Called Royal Flush by dog photographer William Wegman:

My set. I particularly like the Queen.

That is correct. The lowest denomination chip will be the Jack $1k. In addition to what is shown, I am in Gear's queue for the relabeling af a barrel of AS $25 chips to Jack $500,000 chips. I'd change course if I switch out the Jack $5ks.

Nice. How/why did you decide in the boomerang base? I am always curious how these actually work out as far as space when you have people sitting in chairs who are using the table.

I bought a table from the same builder, @T_Chan , and all may have their reasons, but I'd think for the shear elegance and sophistication of the design. I did a "modern base" personally.

Understandable. But how it actually works with chairs/people is paramount in my mind. By modern you mean...?

I can understand the question. I've run a full game on it now. It actually provides a nice cool perch for feet. I didn't mind it. Nobody complained and I feel it is spacious enough for all. I had one player who travels quite heavy, tall, and wide, he had no issue. I could have easily put in a 10th player.

With the topper on, for meals and family fun time, it is fantastic too. No issue. Of course, there is the base all the time at your feet. This was not a mystery to me in particular at onset of design with Tony. It's clear from the start there will be a base plate at the bottom.

Obviously, chairs can't slide all the way in but I am not really concerned with that. I suppose, to each their own but so far, my experience has been positive and I'm head over heels in love with my table.

If that answers the question? It is different. No doubt. There is an adjustment. Since it was to be a piece of furniture in an open area of my open concept floor plan, it needed a wow factor. These bases that Tony offers provide that

Great answer and exactly what I was curious about with this base. I always think about where chairs and feet will go at a table. I am going for a larger, round table initially as my current home isn’t set up for a large oval with a topper and I don’t prefer them for cards or gaming, but that boomerang base really opens up the space, physically and visually. Really nice. Are they significantly more expensive than a modern base?

@T_Chan: is there something similar for a round? I can’t imagine a way to adjust a pedestal base beyond what it is.

The boomerang base is beautiful. Is there much table movement when the table is leaned on? Is the boomerang is offset a bit toward one end of the table or is that just an optical illusion from the perspective of the pictures?

While I didn't get the boomerang base, I believe, with confidence, the table doesn't move. If it's anything like mine, weight wise, it's very heavy. Personally, mine requires 2 people to properly effect any kind of movement. It don't matter if 10 players are leaned in on it, it's like a boulder. Truly feels like a casino table in my very home

For a reference, the "modern base" table in the pictures that Tony posted is my table.

Tony Chan's photos of the table with the boomerang base is my table.

The base weighs a ton. There is no issue with table movement under any circumstance.

I don't think there is an issue with chairs or feet. Below are photos (including the tape measure photo) with the chair pushed to edge of the topper. The photo with my size 12 shoe is with the chair a normal distance from the table. While I certainly could place my feet on the aluminum clad portion of the base, I think that would be fine.
