Musicians Gone Too Soon: Nomination Thread (1 Viewer)

I know I already nominated, but how about for the 80s, guitarist Randy Rhoads - dead at 25 (plane crash).

Without repeating, most, if not all the ones I would have already nominated are in this thread... but one of the biggest for me that hasn’t yet:

ADAM YAUCH
Of the Beastie Boys

Hands down one of the best and definitely gone too soon !!!

I would also nominate:

DJ AM

no telling what else he would have done or gone on to if not taken too soon!

He really is. I know I'm in the minority on this one and it's a weird thing to say given that waters wrote most of the stuff, but Gilmour makes Floyd for me, not waters.

I kinda feel the same way.

The Pulse live album was post-Waters, and it is simply perfection.

My dad saw him riding a horse in the woods about 7 years ago or so and was too awestruck to say anything but hello as they moved out the way for him to pass by  :ROFLMAO:

Such a wasted moment. My dad is the biggest pink Floyd fan. I still laugh at him for that

Most if not all my names are checked....

These musicians did not die on a young age (thank god) but they died way too anynomous
These boys created more nr 1 hits then Beach Boys, Beatles, Rolling Stones & Elvis combined

The Funk Brothers
