Don't quote me, but those look like the ones that were coated with some kind of sealant polish something?
I remember somebody selling them, advertising that as a feature.
Yup. The sales thread was edited multiple times, but I'm sure these were part of that sale. When I inquired, he said
"Wieman's high traffic hardwood polish because of it's penetrating, scratch filling, and durable nature, and then an additional layer of Krylon flat for even more durability, to restore grab, and to knock-back the shine.
This combination allows chips, which have been thoroughly abused, to look and handle on the verge of new. And they will outlast all the other chips in the set."

Old man yelling at clouds warning!
This is the biggest reason why zealots like me rant about relabeling chips to match a casino's chips. These chips are listed as "Barrel (20) HORSESHOE SOUTHERN INDIANA HSI 25c casino poker chip Paulson THC." That's complete bullshit, because they're not chips from that casino. It's true that the description makes an attempt to clarify the truth by saying "relabled as . . ." but that should be the headline, not the fine print. And what happens when whomever buys these turns around and sells them? If they're any sloppier with their listing, then the next buyer will be swindled.
