Has anyone ever murdered Paulson Classics? I know everyone dogs the inlays on the Classics, but I love the colors overall and have a large set that I would like to keep, so it got me thinking about a full inlay replacement.

I considered it but went in another direction. I love the colors and like the mold but hate the inlays. I haven’t seen anyone else do it yet.

Serious question: why do so many hate that mold?

@Ben8257 and @FordPickup92 brought their set to Ohio last fall, and I thought they felt fantastic. Different strokes, YMMV, etc I guess.

People say it’s just an advertisement mold. The Paulson text doesn’t bother me at all and I like the flat feel akin to S-crowns.

Yeah, most complaints about the mold is the advertising aspect. However, there’s so much clay to clay surface on Classics that the feel is great. In fact, since there’s no recess beyond the inlay at all, it has more surface area than almost any other Paulson chip.

I've seen the $10s murdered for a frac...
I did this but went with an over label instead of murder.

I think the feel is great, and their durability has been amazing. I’ve had them in a monthly home game for 15 years now and they are still in excellent condition.

I also don’t understand why so many hate the Paulson wording in the chips. I see it the same as a house mold that has the name of a casino on it.

these were my first set of chips many years ago. this was the start I still have them love these chips.
