MSK Cut vs Uncut (1 Viewer)

I'm looking through the group buy section and find myself wondering why the overwhelming preference for the round corner plaques from MSK. Is it that you can get the round in a larger size?

I have the JACK detroit cut corner $5000s and the Majestic $500s and the JACKs feel about 10x better than the round to me. The round corners feel like toys almost. Maybe because they are smaller. The cut corner jacks feel more solid somehow, the the finish quality on the edges slightly better than the majestics. On the Majestics you can feel some inconsistencies where the different layers meet.

I'm getting some of the large Sahara round corner plaques in the mail soon, and maybe that will change my opinion but I'm wondering what you all think.

I'm not in on that group buy but personally I just think rounded looks better aesthetically. Rounded also just seems to be more popular out in the wild with casinos in general, so it could be a conditioning thing as well.

No one took cut corners seriously until Battlestar Galactica came along. Different but cool.

My baccarat set will have cut corners. They show 3 sizes on their sight, I'm going to ask them if it is possible to have 5 sizes. If not, I will adjust as necessary.
