if you could make a custom set based off a non poker related movie (without the worry of copyright infringement)
What would it be?
Having just watched Interstellar (seen in theaters and loved it) and constantly being on this forum it made me think of the idea of a custom set using the Interstellar as inspiration
I loved this symbol as the hub of my idea, using the outter rim as the spot design with the denom under the center structure with "Endurance Club" as the name of the chip set above the center structure
(Scaling the structure to fit the chip along with the denom and set name of chip so it's not overloaded and to "busy" on the chip)
I've got other ideas using other movies and I'd like to hear about others and critics of this one

i am planning a custom set based on a movie theme. i'm not quite ready to unveil, but i'm definitely on board with the idea! looking forward to seeing if anyone else has considered this long enough to formulate an idea.

Yes! Star Wars was another one of my ideas!
I was thinking of doing a mash up of Ceasars Palace with Jabba's palace!
To many ideas floating around

Movie wise there's no movie that I like that would really move me to making a set about it. But if I did I think I would look more towards trilogy's or franchise movies.

Star Wars
Avengers
Transformers

Could make very cool and interesting sets around those types.

I've thought about an Avengers-based set.

Earlier today, I was actually thinking of posting to my FB friends regarding a Super Set, asking for suggestions for superheroes and supervillains, along with a base color for each. The idea would be for each denom to have a hero one side, and a villain on the other. (I'm not enough of a Superhero geek too put it together, but a number of my friends are.)

Easy DC comic super hero cash set:

1$ blue base -- superman
5$ red base -- flash
25$ green base -- green lantern
100$ black base -- batman

Think you could do something along those lines with avengers just mix the colors around. The reason I like the above set is mostly standard colors and each has an iconic symbol that could be used

For years I thought about making a "Miller's Crossing" themed set with the prominent establishments:

Whiskey Nicks
the Shenandoah
the Sons of Erin Social Club
