Found this as I'm always looking for spotted diamond mold. ( Anyone?)

This casino has 10 different molds in their chip history.

I’m pretty sure that I’ve read several times on PCF that molds were so expensive that they couldn’t be made anymore, and that the technology needed to work and make the metal needed to create them has been lost as well. That’s one of the reasons why its impossible for anybody to make chips at home. The logical extension of that thinking is that the molds in existence now are all that will ever be available and when they are worn out that’s just that.
