Most Beautiful Casino Racks (1 Viewer)

WW has said he likes to browse this thread to get ideas on sets to go out and buy.
I’ve spoken with him about the alleged Gulfports. I told him what I thought. He told me what he thought. Cordial conversation - agree to disagree.

If only we could see those minty ones that apparently exist. Anyway, for now...

For a small card room (two to four tables), you could do a LOT worse than these chips:

My only criticism of the set is the blue edgespots on the $5 chip that are a very similar hue to the blue base color of the $1 chip. My personal "chip design manifesto" is such that I don't think any two colors on consecutive chips in a sequence should match or even be close to each other. I can make exceptions for tiny edgespots, like the reddish one on the $20 chip that is close to the base color of the $5. It's great that these chips are in the community now! The $100 is a banger and I just might like to get one.

I've still got plenty of ammunition for this thread. It is difficult to find a GOOD casino rack of ceramics. I find most of them uninspired with washed out colors. I don't own any of these, but I suppose I may try to collect them someday. The pics are NSFW, so I will spoiler them for y'all.

So here we have The Ore House ceramic chips from Reno. They took full advantage of Chipco offerings because they have an octagon AND a plaque in the lineup. The artwork on all six chips is unique among all casinos with one perspective of a scene on one side of the chip/plaque, then the 180° perspective of the same scene on the other. I shouldn't like them, but I do.
When u stack the chips - they spell out ore house and the ladies are lying. Super cool. I’m trying to collect these as well. Missing the 5 and 25$. I have the plaques.
