Any California guys have info on the Morongo poker room? Or card rooms near Moreno Valley

I will be travelling quite a bit to Moreno Valley and noticed this Casino on my way from AZ.

Just looking to hit some real poker rooms/ casinos when out of AK.

Thanks
Pat

I've played there once a few years ago when my friends were shopping at the outlet next door. Casino is way bigger than i expected. The poker room was a little small, maybe 8-10 tables? They only had a few tables of $1/$2 No limit going at the time. Strange thing about that game is they use all $1 chips. I couldn't believe when they handed me 2 racks of $1s. If you are bored and nearby, its worth checking out, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go back. Good luck!

I'm 20 minutes from Moreno Valley. I don't know much about Morongo. My players typically play at Pechanga, near Temecula. Let me know when you will be in the area. I have a game a month.

Wait... you are travelling through CA on your way to AZ... or staying in Moreno Valley? Morongo is about 45 minutes East of MoVal, nearer to Palm Springs.

I was just down there two weeks ago. Drove from Az to Mv. My son is living in Moreno Valley now. I will be back there on the 10th -16th. We will be traveling there quite a bit.

Cool. PM me your email address and I will put you on the invite list. If you can make a game cool. If not, no sweat.

I play regularly at the indian casinos in the inland empire and this is my opinion:

Morongo: It's ok, there are many young kids playing without a lot of cash so one or two buy ins are common. There are some fishes but also lots of regs, poker room is decent.

San Manuel: Similar to morongo, but nicer in quality. More game selection and action.

Pechanga: Best of the bunch hands down, closest thing to a Vegas esque hotel and casino. Best game selection and poker room. Top notch staff. Most traffic and players of the bunch. That being said, there are more fish but also more regs. This is the casino I prefer out of the bunch. The actual casino portion is nice as well.

I went to the Morongo a few years ago & lost all my money at the blackjack tables, got chatted up by
a pretty Mexican girl too. I got a free steak meal & walked away with some chips.
