I bought some Monte Carlo chips, cards, dealer buttons, and wood chip cases to assemble as groomsman gifts for my friends that are in my wedding later this year. These Monte Carlo chips are pretty nice. They don't fell too heavy or cheap and they stack nice. Not slippery at all like some Bud Jones chips. $145 for 1000 chips is a great price for the quality. They really surprised me!

I got the cases, cards and dealer buttons from dennis63 here on the PCF. Great guy to do business with for sure! Check out his website KeyWestResortCasino.com.

No love for the Monte Carlos? ;)

I played with those actually a few weeks back. I didn't mind them except he had the high demons set and the 1000 and 100 were very similar, but not a bad dice chip at all.

Not bad, but I had a guy I play with at our regular neighborhood games who was insisting that his MC chips were in fact 100% clay chips, cuz the website he bought them from said so...

wasnt worth the argument... It wasn't until 6 months later when he was playing at my house, that he got to see what real clay chips looked like. ;)

I've been looking at getting a set of these for years. There's a seller on eBay who does free shipping to Canada which is great because shipping chips can cost a lot. I did a lot of research and decided to save up for china clays instead, but have always been curious about how well they play and feel. They do look great and they're cheap which is another plus.

I do actually like the MC's. I bought a sample set and while they aren't great, they are good for a cheap chip. I still want to buy a set of Pharoh's but perhaps someday I'll buy a small set of these as a traveling set.

MRCPoker is in your backyard, and they sell them as well.

Yep, I have a feeling that the eBay seller and MRC may be one in the same, or affiliated somehow. They are just a stone's throw away from me for sure.
