Thanks to @DoubleEagle, I've started work on a long-overdue update to the mixed-games cards. The most recent version, uploaded in September 2018, is in the Resources section.

My original intention was to include games played in Las Vegas casinos and in meetups, for the most part, with no wild-card games or what are generally referred to as kitchen-table games (e.g., Follow the Queen, 3-5-7, etc.). More than 1000 poker variants can be found here, including non-poker poker variants. (???). I can't make cards for them all.

Please post requests for new games in this thread, along with instructions for dealing and play, and a comment on whether it plays well with a big-bet and/or fixed-limit structure.

open face chinese

Never played it... so I don't know how to play it... I know its a game the "pro's" used to play.

It's fun to play. I prefer the pineapple version. There are a few decent apps where you can learn, playing for points. However, it isn't considered to be a poker game despite the fact that it uses poker hand rankings. Regular OFCP is for 2-4 players, pineapple for 2-3 players. Additionally, because Chinese poker is not usually included in a dealer's choice or fixed-rotation mixed game, it doesn't fit the parameters for these cards.

Is that a variant of Stampler where if no is low possible on the board, the player with the highest hole card of the same suit as the river card wins half the pot?
Yes that's it.

I've always liked 7 stud high/low declare. You can declare High, low, or PIG. The fun part about PIG is you have to WIN both high and low. If you tie one or the other, you lose both. So I've had many people try to go pig and then not realize the other person with the wheel tied them, so they lose.

If people complain too much about the declare part, you could just do high/low split. I like high/low 8 (have to have an 8 or lower to qualify for low).

Crazy Pineapple is a good one too.

Though these days, if you deal 7 stud, that will screw most people up lol.

Dramaha variants (2-7, A-5, 49, Hidugi)
5 Card Badugi
Irish
Pineapple Stud

We have cards for 7-card Stud hi/lo (Stud 8) and Crazy Pineapple.
A bit of a circus game that I have played with my Dad's crew is Five card draw, roll your own, hi-low declare.

According to wiki, this game is referred to as "Skinny Minnie"
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draw_poker#Shotgun_("Roll_'em_out"_and_"Skinny_Minnie")
Skinny Minnie sounds like a kitchen table game.

In general, we have separate cards for high only and for high/low. This project will get out of hand if we add "roll your own" to every stud game and declare to every high/low split game.

Icelandic Scarney?
Got it.
Dramaha variants (2-7, A-5, 49, Hidugi)
5 Card Badugi
Irish
Pineapple Stud
I'll look them up and will tag you if I can't find one or more.
Shouldn't this be in the Out of Context thread? ;)

Hi @abby99 love this. Hoping to get your cards in play today.

Anyway, one suggestion. Could you write separate the 5-card draw explanation cards without any mention of the "bug?"

We tend to play to always play with the standard deck and having such a version of the card would be less confusing in my humble opinion.

Thanks,

We played 5 card Big O draw friday night. After the betting round on the flop you could draw up to 3 cards lol

Is there any variants for strip poke...er..?....cough.. asking for a friend hosting a sausage fest Meetup :sneaky: :sneaky:

Tried a game called Oma-god..played like Omaha but before your river bet, you have the option of trading one of your hole cards for one of the board cards. Ultimate position game! Totally sick!

Sounds horrible! On the flop before the betting starts I could deal with it, but after 3 rounds of betting to do that is nuts.

Though trips in the hand becomes very playable.

New variant on the scene in Vegas - Dramaha zero. Sounds like it's the same as Dramaha 49 but trying to get the lowest total pips in the hole instead of highest...

@abby99 your cards are amazing - I couldn’t survive a meetup without them. Just a thought but would it be possible to put a link to just the pdf on the forum? That way we can download directly to our phones. For now, it links to the zip which my phone can’t open.

Everyone at SQM referred to 5-card double board Omaha as “God’s Game” - may be handy to add that to the card?

I don't think @Copper44 likes that game anymore

Dramaha variants with points -- Are these correct?

Dramaha 49: Aces = 1, Faces = 0, Everything else = rank
Best hand: TTTT9 (49 points)

Dramaha 6: Aces = 1, Faces = ???, Everything else = rank
Best Hand: AAAA2 (6 points)

Dramaha Zero: Aces = 1, Faces = 0, Everything else = rank
Best Hand: Five face cards

My internet search came up empty.

@moose
@power13

49 and zero that's right. Never heard of 6!

If AAAA2 is the nuts in 6 my guess would be faces are 10
