Will be there Saturday - Tuesday for daughter's volleyball tournament, just me so I'm hoping to find some time to play some poker between matches.

Staying 2 miles from Convention Center at Marriott Courtyard on Washington Ave South.

Did a quick search and running aces looks pretty good. I can catch my own trout and have them cook it. Might have to do that. Would like to catch some fish @ the tables too.

Looks like mainly tournaments I'm seeing and not sure I can make a tourney. What rooms have cash games?

Running Ace's has cash games going but it is likely not going to be as busy as Canterbury Park Card Room. Canterbury is by and far my favorite MN card room. Although to be honest MN kinda sucks for cash poker because its all limit or spread limit. If you want NLHE, Craps, Roulette etc like Vegas you have to cross the river into WI. St Croix Casino Turtle Lake is the closest and at about an hour from the cities I'd guess. They have NLHE 1/2 on up.

Limit sucks, but I still play sometimes. Free drinks?

That's 24 miles so expensive Uber trip to play limit. Can I get there on the light rail?

How's the horse racing at Canterbury?

No free drinks. CB has 2-100 spread that I was frequenting for the spring and decent enough. The horse racing is awesome. I believe they have Corgi racing this weekend at some point. We went for the bull dog races a month ago and was very entertaining. 9$ admission and good family fun or degen fun:) automatic shuffling (yuck) black jack tables outside by the betting station and bar if you don't want to go into card/ casino room.

The Corgi races look like so much fun. Just watching this video, it seems the dogs down the middle do the best. Do they let you know which gate they leave from?

Looks like I am a few weeks ahead of myself for the Corgi races. Either way if you go for horses, as soon as you exit the concourse area, you'll see betting on the left, bar and BJ straight past that. If you go right down the stairs, and another right for seating, you'll basically be at the finish line and the start for most races. Depending on the furlongs they move the gate around as needed but the finish is always in the same spot. Looks like I'll hit Canterbury tomorrow afternoon, I found out one of the volleyball dads plays Texas Hold'em

He is on sports radio here in Seattle once a week or so to talk football during the season, I think he is very cool and love listening to his calls, love a guy who wears his emotions on his sleeve when it comes to sports. We've had some of the best up here in the NW, Neihaus for the Mariners (RIP Dave) and Kevin Colabro for the Sonics (RIP Sonics), and I like listening to Paul Allen's calls as much as those guys. Good luck to Bridgewater coming back, seems like an incredible kid and his injury and what it might do to his career is fucking horrible.

(go Broncos though ;)
