Where's the casino security guard? I think they are safe though. ;)

So when should I show up for the next poker game? ;) lol

I bought this entire set and distributed them. Lol

Not sure these exact chips were in your collection... I got them from the no 1 name in obsolete casino Paulsons... I thought he only buys from casinos, then sells em to ppl like us, not the other way around, lol

and I don't believe you bought these from me. I just sold them to an overseas buyer. Unless you bought from this buyer, I'm not sure I follow your post...? Sorry.

But these were def some awesome chips. Mintier than mint!

What kind of drawer setup do you have?

Custom drawers, solid cherry, fit to existing cabinets, Full Extension HD slides.

only paid for two, got four additional shipped as damage replacements. Was able to fix all the damaged drawers as good as new. Sweet deal.

investment.
Drawers (2) = $200
Slides x 6 drawers (super high end) = $120
Drawers free (4) = priceless!

What bottom thickness did you get?

Tri do you like the 25c brown Milano chip. Any pic of them stacked?

I liked the $.25 chip much better in person. It wasn't a pukey brown color, but more of a mauve/taupe color. Kinda like a light brown with a purplish/lavender tinge to it. I don't know. All the pics I've seen make it look like a brown, when it looks much better in person (at least, IMHO). Especially oiled. :)

Tri you have an amazing stash of these Milanos. They look great. The brown, which will be 50% of the chips on my table, looks a bit pukey like you say in photos. Hard to tell what a 20 stack of brown 25c + a 20 stack of white $1 will look like next to each other.

I no longer have the $.25 chips. I sold off all my lower denom milanos, but kept the tourney denoms. I was nervous about the quarters when I saw the pics, but was pleasantly surprised in person. Not pukey whatsoever. Almost a purple-brown color. Hard to describe, sorry I don't have any left to take pics of. They were one of my fav Milano chips (because of the color). Aside from the black hundo. :)

Here, this pic is from Milly. It looks like the white will be fine, and sometimes the $5 reds will come onto the table for rebuys. But the brown 25c will be half the table, so I hope its not too pukey. I cant really imagine brown, white and red next to each other in my mind. I hope it looks good.

As for the tourney set, the Majestics seems to blow the Milanos away in higher denoms.

Thats perfect, thanks. Just what I was looking for!

The red and white look great next to each other. Even the green looks good although I prefer the Majestic green. The brown looks a little dull vs the red and white but I guess its ok. How do you feel about the brown 25c?

I don't currently have any brown chips - never thought to get a $.25 chip until I get my customs. I use the $25 for a frac when we play lower stake games.

I don't mind the brown chip - it looks decent, but I personally am not a fan of brown chips. It doesn't look pukey or anything - it's just a brown chip (slight purpleish hue to the brown)

Agreed, for the colors... The tourney set would involve T100 chips, and these concern me. I've seen several Majestic sets, and all of them had diameter issues with the hundos. They're not all the same diameter, and this would tilt me to no end... Think about stacking them up, and having half of them different diameters. The "feel" aspect alone makes these a "no go" for me. Not to mention how they'd look in racks. But if you can live with the diameter issues, then the colors of the Majestics would be hard to top.

But are the colors of the Milano higher denoms worth the better quality control. Im just worried I will look at them and go "meh".

Best bang for your buck is to get 1000 Milanos. I will use 600 for my cash set, and 400 for the tourney set. I like the cash set combos, but the tourney gives me pause. Just not sure its worth all the extra $$$ to get Majestics for the tourney set if we wont play tourneys very often (seems like cash games beat out tourneys in terms of preference 5X).

I don't have any Majestics - they came out after I already bought 1400 Milanos. Here are stacks of the 500-1000-5000. I don't mind the colors, but in pictures the colors for Majestics are much more saturated. The 1000 is the weakest chip in the Milano set, IMO.

Great pics TY. Yeah the 1,000 is the work horse of the tourney set and it happens to be the weakest color. Darn. Stacks look good though. Did you oil these?

No oil - I tried a few stacks, but didn't like the slippery after feel it left. The come very dusty and smelly from the factory, all I did was wash them with dawn and a rag. I am in the don't oil Milano camp, others swear by it. To each their own.

They look fine on their own. You put them next to the Majestics, and they look meh. Tough choice.
