Wanted Micro stakes set (2 Viewers)

Been on the hunt for a good micro stakes set for 6-8 players that won’t break the bank (about $1 a chip but can be flexible.)

We usually play $20 buy-in but occasionally even $10 (I know, pretty darn low, but makes the game a lot more approachable for the newcomers). For a good deal on some used casino chips I’m not opposed to using $5 dollar chips as nickels, $25s as quarters etc. (never know, could even be dual purpose if we ever multiply our buy in by 10)

Been looking for a while so interested to see if anyone’s got a cool smaller set out there they’ve been looking to part ways with. If not, suggestions on what to buy are also welcome; new around here and always open to learning.

You can also find regular stake breakdown and played them @ 1/10th of the value (example $1 as 10c $5 as 50c)

Micro stake for Casino Clay chip are rare and much more expensive as modern casino dont have much supply for low value chip below $1 denom

Yknow I saw some Jack Cincinatti’s on Apache and thought about doing this. However I played a few test games and couldn’t come up with a good starting stack/blind structure (needed a lot of $1 in the beginning, then a ton of $5). I was thinking of a starting stack along the lines of…

x15 $1
x7 $5
x2-6 $25 (depending on $10 or $20 buy in)

Do you think this would be viable or are the denoms just too wacky?

for around $1.40/chip, you can play with live vegas dollar chips. I can harvest you a whole set, or a rack or two to use as dollars.

Sweet! A little expensive for me at the moment but good to know. I'm sure I'll get in touch at some point, having some live chips around would be awesome.

cool. if you want any samples to check some out, you can get some singles too. Doesn't have to be whole racks. Good luck with your hunt.
