Agreed in some ways. But on the other hand, I'm not a fan of re-labeling already attractive -- and perhaps prized -- chips. Maybe that's just me...

I'm building an MGM Detroit set and since they're still live chips, gathering up a bunch of $25 chips would be waaaaay too costly. So I have MGM Detroit .25's, 1.00's, 2.50's and 5.00's. I'm relabeling the MGM LV 1.00's into $20.00's since they're a different color but still say MGM on them.

Had to google what milling meant lol. Got to watch a vimeo video of some hot stamps being 'milled' Pretty neat stuff. And yeah, just wanna throw some higher denomination labels on top so my set has some higher denoms. I'm going to use $20's (instead of $25's) since I don't think that's an active chip value at either the Detroit MGM/LV MGM.......

I have 2 racks of Quarters and 2 racks of $1s.. I've been looking for $5s with no luck. You looking to sell some $5s? or maybe buying the 4 racks i have?

I'd probably be in for a rack of $1's depending on price, condition of chips and shipping....Don't know if you would be interested in splitting up your set. But I don't need all 400 of them. I've been going down and harvesting the 5's. I don't have a lot yet, like I said, still building my set. I have about 2 barrels of good/great condition 5's and about 2 barrels of worn down, casino used. I have a system I'm using that seems to work. It's just a matter of how often I get down there..

That's true. I harvested some racks some years ago and later on they changed the inlay to a smaller one.
