Im not on Facebook so you guys are subject to my random pics or other nonsensical threads.


So we had/have a turtle.

We released him into the wild. (Yeah mixed opinions on that I know)
Anyway, he came back to the house when the vernal pond dried up last year. Dogs found him up the side near the fence.
This year we sent him back to the pond for his summer vacation.

I bought a spotting scope last year so we could see where he was. We got some cool pics of him, wood ducks, deer etc.

So here's a cool pic yesterday as I was watching the turtle (Michael) through the scope.

Bambi gets flustered, looks up and this guy lands in a tree near him

Green Heron paid a visit

possibly mama deer. ( yeah we know what happened to Bambi’s mom)

And a little group of painted turtles. That seem to have adopted a Snapping turtle ( Michael’s not in this group)

We are lucky it fills in in the spring /summer
