The 2014 World Series of Poker Main Event attracted 2,144 runners for Day 1B, meaning that with the 771 entrants from Day 1A there are now at least 2,915 players in the field, with the WSOP reporting that there already more than that number registered for day 1C. It is looking quite likely that this year’s field will easily surpass 2013’s 6,352-player turnout. Among the leaders was Matt Affleck. Card Player TV caught up with him on the final break of the day to learn more about how he built his huge stack, how his summer has gone so far and more.
