Trying to find an inexpensive but durable travel solution for these chips. Just checking to see if anyone can confirm that they will fit in one of the Versa ABS cases.

Aren't they 39mm diameter? They should fit in the case, in that case:D
Only "news" I can mention about the cheaper ABS version of Versa is that just 50 CPCs fit -snugly- per row. (Not 52 CPCs, or 53 mint Paulsons, or 54 casino-used Paulsons, like in the sturdy Deluxe model).
The ABS is a fine, lightweight cushioning material for the price, but otherwise the build quality (hinges, latches, handle, plastic rows) are at least equally crappy as in any cheap aluminium case. NOT for expensive chips, unless it's the smaller 300ct model, having to bear less weight and handle less structural stress.

The Matsui chips are 40mm. They will fit in grooves meant for 39mm diameter chips, but not perfectly. Dunno the size of the Versa case grooves.

At 40mm they may not fit. The cheap plastic (fabric-covered) rows are too tight, unless there is inconsistency in manufacturing (which even less flattering for that product) and some will accomodate the 40mm chips and some not....
