Matsui quality compared to hybrid ceramics (1 Viewer)

For inner-ring chips, you can only choose between ABS and Nylon for the secondary and tercentenary colors, the base has to be nylon. As for sharp v beveled edges, I know they don’t offer truly sharp edges for the inner-ring chips, possibly they are somewhat sharper, but not to the extent of a Decal line chip.

Generally, I’ve noticed that ABS decal chips are more slippery than Nylon chips, but if you’re going with Matsui, you might as well just do ABS, as they’re both quite slippery.

No, you are 100% wrong in all points

See my Black Diamond Cash set. https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/black-diamond-ranch-cash-set.55163/

All chips are inner-ring, sharpe edges and all colours are ABS

Those aren’t sharp edges, they still have small bevels.

As for the ABS, the rules may be different in Europe, but directly from Roxana at Matsui America, I was told you can only have ABS for the secondary and tercentenary colors, so either I was lied to, or you were.

well, I wasn't see my set!

I’m excited to get my chips , I decided to order them . 4-5 weeks and they will be here . Hope just not to be as slippery as they are mentioned everywhere

I’ve said it before, I’ll probably say it again...

Those who say/have said that Matsui chips stack like bricks have probably never handled an actual brick IRL. They’re slippery AF. Not as bad as Gemaco chips, which are easily the worst handling non generic dice/ABS/13.5g plastic chip I’ve ever handled

Matsuis sure are pretty though

I love my Matsui chips. They are a little slippery but it's not a bad thing in my eyes. I don't really like brand new Paulsons because they're a little cumbersome to handle right out of the box. Once they're worn they're great. Matsuis will look and handle the from day one out of the racks vs 5 years down the road. I like that theres more consistency (no color variation, no warped chips) with Matsui though. They don't take damage well. Over time a flea bite on a clay chip will wear down and become less noticeable while it won't on a plastic chip. At the end of the day they're great chips

Can’t wait to see the result.

these are the chips I made and these are the final results . I will add some other dominations in the next order , but for now this is what I need the most . I just hope they will handle well and cutting barrels would be easy . If they are really slippery then this will be a pro

If you are worried about the slipperiness of Matsuis (or any other high end plastic chip for that matter, like B&G, Abbiati, and Bud Jones), then you really need to get samples in hand to compare and evaluate their physical characteristics before making a big purchase. Even different chip series within the same brand line can have different qualities.

Hi guys , this is my first post ! I’m from Holland , and I’m a poker chip lover just like all of you .

I have a question , you can order a custom Matsui set if you want , pay some money and get high quality casino plastic chips as they state.
How do these chips handle , in European casinos they have mostly b&G chips and these I like very much although they are heavy (14 grams) my question is , how doest Matsui chips compare to b&g chips and how do they compare to sun fly hybrids like the Ascona , which I have and like but also dislikes some things about it , they are very light and slippery for the most time.

looking forward for some answers

thank you and greetings from holland
So this is how one of the worst villain start off
