With the upcoming release of the Majestic's, I've started a custom label project but can't find any information on label sizing for them. Is there anything out there or is it more of a wait and see approach?

Thanks

Wait and see. It's a brand new mold, impossible to say exactly what size the label will be until they get here.

That said, it'll prooooooooooobably be the same or very similar to the CPS chips, which are a hair under 1.1 inches.

Who creates these molds?

Has anyone by chance figured out the label size for the Majestic's yet?

I will, as soon as I get any Majestic chips. They're still "in transit" according to USPS tracking, having left Las Vegas early on Dec 3 (and going to Washington state, not Canada.)

Okay I'm not the only one. I received my racks that were shipped on the same day, just chips are racking up their frequent flier miles per USPS tracking they are still in the air.

We live like 10 miles apart and I have received both my original order and my Monday add on. Although mine were shipped Fedex and both arrived with the box in shambles. Only 1 casualty luckily. USPS is really inconsistent.

I just received a call from USPS and there was a scan on it in Vegas today. Guess @Apache was sending too many packages and they had a mini strike against him. :)

Yeah, it's just shy of 1". Somewhere in the 0.950" to 0.900" range should be good. @Gear might be able to help a bit more.

Mine finally arrived (a while back, I admit) and I've now finally had time to examine them thoroughly.

The inlay area is nominally 1" and measures slightly smaller (0.990" to 0.995"), while the factory labels are slightly smaller again (0.987" to 0.992"). This tolerance is normal and expected, but IMO the factory labels are still a bit too big in some cases. I wouldn't cut them any bigger than 0.980".

In any case, anyone ordering labels from me doesn't have to worry about the exact super-precise size. Just tell me which chips you're labelling, Majestics in this case, and I will make them the right size. :)

For designing, aim at 0.980" and it will be fine.

Thanks Gear, glad to hear you finally have chips in your hands! Any suggestions about the lamination thickness? Your standard labels or the thinner ones?

Right, I forgot to mention inlay area depth. There is a ton of room on the blanks, 12 to 15 mils on the ones I measured. Plenty of room for standard laminated labels.

How does this compare to Milano?
