Will a magic eraser work on a permanent marker spot of the edge of a chip?

From a few posts I’ve seen (but no personal experience) no. The marker seems to permeate the chip - it isn’t just on the surface.

Actually saw another post where the guy soaked the chips in alcohol too...

On a positive note, marker on the edge of the chip is MUCH easier to clean off than on the face of a chip. I have had some success with magic eraser, but it only cleans off so much. It really depends on how much has seeped into the chip. I had similar success with alcohol as I did to Non-acetone nail polish remover. At the end of the day you can only get so much off.
