Magestics edges..... (1 Viewer)

Just got the magestics and noticed the edges are very very bull-nosed. It's like they intentionally sanded them down to be 45 angles. Does anyone know why? Not sure how I feel about this

all of the china clays have beveled edges like that, at least all of the newer ones that i've ever handled - I believe it's an artifact of the manufacturing method.

Yes, that is normal for Majestics. Milanos have sharper edges.

Not the Milanos I have - they are even more beveled. I think it is pretty variable though, I noticed the bevels on my Majestics were not at all consistent when I had a set.

The edges on my the bank chips cc are also beveled. Those are pretty even as far as I can tell.

maybe this helps to be more durable for every day use, preventing bites from sharp edges.
