Former chiptalk member here, have been lurking here from time to time but lately my urge to have nice poker chips has risen again.

I blame you and your chip-pr0n of course.

You guys make that chat group sound weird.

Welcome sir,
Always great to meet new chippers from the Cologne area.
We got a monthly game going. Let me know if you're interested in joining at some point.

Care to share some pictures of your collection?

Cheers

Wow, that is a very warm welcome. Thanks guys!

Back then i had three playable sets, one were ceramic chips (Sun-Flys with a custom Bellagio inspired design), a small Tourney set from the Ambassador Plaza and a cash set from the Casino Aztar (Carruthersville though) and two racks of 5s from the Aruba Palm Beach because i felt their 5s were nicer than the giant inlays.

I moved in 2011 and since then havent played any live poker and sold my sets off when i needed money. Now it is starting to itch and i regret my sales. Only things left is a deck of cards and a few samples. Beautiful ones tho, my prized possessions in the chip world are currently a small olivias poker hall sample and a single 1000 chip from the casino R'Lyeh (some Lovecraft inspired H mold customs). Will return home from.christmas vacation in January and then happily provide a picture of my few, but loved chips

I'd love to take part in a chat group or even home game and i am very much afraid i will buy some chips again.

So, i've been still lurking mostly after registration.. at least in the forum that is. Quite active in the german whatsapp group so far and could already attend two awesome homegames with awesome chips at @NeoViny23 and @OfficerLovejoy

I just remembered that i promised to share a few pictures of my leftover chips from the past and have to admit i have been purchasing additional ones so far.

So first of all here is what i started with on my 2nd journey...

The Aruba Palm Beach, Aztar and BCC Highrollers are whats left from larger sets in the past...

For my recent purchases i couldn't quite pull the trigger on Paulson or CPC since those that i really like are usually too expensive for my current budget... But i took the opportunity to explore some vintage molds and hotstamps recently.

First one is an almost playable set of Fireside Chips on the L mold.

13*10c
23*25c
152*1$
210*5$
38*10$
38*20$

I will need a few more fractionals for this, but otherwise i love the set and their retro feel.

That is some nice sets... I really love their retro vibe! Haven't touched a horseshoe mold myself, but one of the lots i bought recently are T Molds. If i didn't get it wrong they come from the same manufacturer and i love their feel!

These are the ones... No idea what i will be doing with them exactly but their feel and sound is awesome.
