It is sad, but it has been coming for the last year. It was just a matter of when. We were kind of waiting for the day. She had a very good run and was truly a gentle soul. I wasn't really that affected when we put her down yesterday. However, today three or four times, I have seen something out of the corner of my eye and turned expecting to see her before I remember that she's gone.

Pre and post edge-oiling. When I first opened the red chips, I thought they were the wrong color. A tiny bit of mineral oil does wonders:
