So I bought this kids' board game called Loopin' Louie. It's a 4-player game where this figurine (Louie) is attached to a battery powered motor which goes around and around, and each player pushes a lever in front of him/her to defend his "chickens." You lose all 3 of your chickens, and you're out.
It sounds like the dumbest game ever for kids but once you start playing its actually hilariously fun, addicting, and a good drinking game.
Anyway, the reason I bring this up is because we played this yesterday, and the "chickens" are stickered little 28mm plastic disks. Naturally I riffled them like I would chips, and I was surprisingly pleased by the sound they made. I think it has to do with the mold of the discs having a raised outer border which lets the sound echo a bit which gave it a nice dark tone compared to standard plastic interlocking chips.
