Looking for examples of colour matching inlay to CPC DG Peach and DG Pink (1 Viewer)

I did both DG pink and DG peach color "match" in my Arizona Club set back in the ASM Maine days, now over 10 years ago:

The DG peach worked "better" than the DG pink, but neither are a perfect match.

Sandy at ASM actually picked the best possible match she could make, but I was warned it wouldn't be perfect as their printer can't replicate the high-chroma values necessary for those DG colors.

It's tough to print those colors anyways, and it's not just ASM or CPC. One of the favorite chips in my collection is the MGM Grand $20 poker room chip, and while the entire set has color matched inlays:

the "match" to the blaze orange misses the mark.

Getting a hold of David and asking about color matching those would probably be the best bet before going too far into a design, but know you're probably unlikely to get a perfect match to DG colors.

Thanks for this. I'm definitely aware of the difficulty colour matching those colours, and that set of yours is a great example of the technique I recommend on DG colours. Hoping if there is someone around that tried it I can get some data from them to compare against my own data from CPC's samples.

This might not be helpful because it’s fairly small color matching and outlined in black lettering, but this was how the color matching turned out for me. I used your color codes for all of my color matching in my set and was pleased. Thanks again!
