Are you certain Dunes 25c is what you looking for? That is very different than the other chips you are looking for especially when looking for one “or” the other. One can hope!
To be honest, now I'm questioning my-self. I'm also a noob so you're probably right. I'm picturing the original Paulson version of the 25c chip, that is currently listed in the China Clay set on apache. I assumed it was a 1-for-1 replica of the original set. I just fell in love with the light pink and blue. Are you certain Dunes 25c is what you looking for? I understand its extremely rare as is.
Gotcha, makes total sense. Appreciate the explanation! Now... gotta do a little more research.Oh I see. So the Paulson Pharaohs are what’s called “fantasy” or “home line” chips. They are really compressed clay Paulsons of the same construction and quality as casino chips but just made for and sold directly to the home market. Dunes was a real historic casino, so those original chips are a completely different ball game. And the inlay design was a replica of the real inlay, but the chip designs were different. And the Dunes quarters are very rare, very collectible, and very expensive.
If you want to see some other nice attainable fantasy Paulsons check search here for CDM, CDI, VLV, Scandia, and Paulson Classics.
