Hi all. I'm a California boy living in Reno NV for the past 6+ years. Been collecting casino chips (from actual casino visits) for decades, but finally decided to try and collect one $5 chip from every Nevada casino that ever existed (or another denom if no $5 exists for that casino). Probably a pretty common collection target, I'm sure, but there you go. I've got about 200 to go. My avatar is a picture of my actual home office desktop containing 627 chips from my collection. Click and zoom in if you want to drool (or make fun of me - your choice). In keeping with the title of this site, I do play poker, but not as regularly as many of you appear to. Looking forward to lots of mutual harassment and fellowship.

I have a similar collecting interest. Not just $5s, but one chip (any chip) from any Nevada casino opened since 1931 (when gambling was officially legalized). The search never ends, that's for sure. Getting into racks more too lately.
