Received chips from rocket21. Aside from the obvious, the chips are in great shape.
The question is whether to remove the starburst stamp or not? Takes about 1 minute per chip.
If i do the whites, I'll have to do the mint $5s and $25s.
Will removing the starburst on the mint chips affect the value?...my wife thinks so. she loves sparkles.

Notches are way worse than drilled holes, which are way worse than starburst cancellation stamps.

You can remove the starburst but you still have notches and holes. You could conceivably label over the holes, but you'd still have the notches.

"Lipstick on a pig" is entirely accurate.

On an interesting, but almost entirely unrelated note, it appears that notching a pig's ears uses an interesting base-3 system. Not sure if lipstick is involved.

Yes, the problem becomes should I remove the foil from the 5s and 25s and IF i do, should i remove them from the $1s also?

real question, why would someone use that system on pigs ears??? grading system?
