Lighting for a table (1 Viewer)

I just ordered my first poker table. I haven't got it yet, but it is 96" x 44". I live in an apartment, but I believe I can put light fixtures on the ceiling. I'm not sure where to start; how many, the location/position of lights, temperature, LED or incandescent...Any advice?

Led is your friend for most lighting. There are also tons of easy retrofit options. Most are dimmable, too. Everything all wrapped into a sweet affordable package.

LED for sure. You can put two pendant lights down one on each end of the table, should be plenty of light.
