so what have you guys found to work to diffuse light from a perimeter LED light rope, and where do you get the diffuser material?

table builders often use a 'crackle' acrylic to diffuse the harshness of the LED lights. I much prefer a milk colored acrylic... It's opaque white, and allows light to come through smoothly.

I used this opaque acrylic behind my aluminum diffuser...
