Years ago the Let's Play Hockey group hosted a trade show at the Paris Hotel & Casino. I believe there were only a few product shows in Vegas, one in Boston and a few in Toronto. The Let's Play Hockey group hosted the hockey trade show after many many years of the Montreal Hockey Show. I believe the Let's Play Hockey group now hosts a very popular annual consumer show in March in Minnesota.

I collected a bunch of the 'admission chips' and found them the other day.

Anyone recognize these or were at the show?

I bet a few of the Canadian poker members know a skate shop owner that's been around for 20 years and recognize these.

comments appreciated

Yes, they typically host their expo the same weekend as the Boys State High School tournament (which was completed the weekend before the NHL "paused") at the convention hall adjacent to the arena.

Pretty cool hot-stamps, though I think the chips are just ABS plastic. Neat idea for a Vegas-themed expo.

This years dealer hockey product show, as was last year, will be at Niagara Falls on the Canadian side in November. The show is not the same as it used to be back in the day.

Do you play hockey?

Yes, Ice time is the killer. I actually own a hockey store. Non essential so I am closed now. Usually I like the break in the summer but now I can't wait for the season to start.

Our beer league stopped right before the playoffs. Still haven't heard anything about when we are going to pick back up. I miss it.

Do you have an online store? My kids still play, so although I traded my jersey for a coach's whistle 10+ years ago, and hung the whistle up two years ago, I'm still buying equipment on the regular.

Ace wants a bubble this year...if they play... Anyway, I'd rather buy from a PCFer than hockey monkey...

WedgeRock, I am able to sell you a bubble over the phone with CC or you can pick up if you live in the area.

I do not have an on-line store.

Bauer and CCM are both ramping up production for bubbles as well as a few other brands. I am sure we will see some new models soon too. Demand will be up prior to the season but when the big 'if' happens and states start closing again it will be hockey on hold. I am in Illinois and the governor is still saying no contact or competitive sports.

My e-mail is coachpete_hockey@yahoo.com and my cell, good for text too, is 815-601-7383. If you want the bubble I will process over the phone and ship to you. Depending where your at is the shipping charge.

Thanks for your support.
